Hoff, Windows is confusing as it is. But Adobe Reader never complained about a pdf file as being corrupt while another pdf reader had no problems whatsoever. The straight wire fooled me. That out of the way and it was quite clear that the SAN switch is at most a power supply donor. Thanks for the help! Hans
