How does "Linux" recognize it? The file utility can recognize some of
the disk images, as in
# file /media/sdc1/EmuVAX/vms073.dsk
/media/sdc1/EmuVAX/vms073.dsk: Files-11 On-Disk Structure Level 2
(ODS-2); VAX/VMS or OpenVMS file system; volume label is 'VMS073 '
