   Any directories named .dir;1 on an ODS-5 disk will get fixed in
   a pass of analyze/disk/repair.  So ODS-5 may recognize .dir;1, but
   something in VMS preferes .DIR;1 .

   Create/direcotry will always create a .DIR;1 .
