Mate, just google "gaza shelling" and after "Israelis watch gaza
shelling" and tell me your blood doesn't boil? Then America says "What?
you've run out of shells? No worries, here's a whole lot more." But I
think it is more that the US constantly uses its security council veto
to snuff out even the most modest of UN resolutions against Israel. But
let's not forget that Australia not only didn't abstain but actually
voted against the formation of a Palestinian state :-(
Just before I left London they had the Aldgate station bombing (I used
to get out at Algate East) I also use to travel through Victoria station
when the IRA cigarette pack bomb resulted in all bins being removed from
stations, but Aldgate hit home as I walked past and saw all the flowers
and the "Have you seen X" posters and the quite of the blocked off
streets. But what I'd always said to friends and colleagues is that
fanatics don't frighten me; they'll always be around. What frightens me
is when the average professional Joe/Mohammad with a wife, kids, and a
mortgage becomes radicalized and decides throw away everything and join
the cause. If they can't get succor in the UN court of international
arbitration because one country keeps vetoing what the rest of the world
agrees on then what should they do?
The only good thing about the scum that is IS is that no thinking person
would possibly do anything that would even remotely align them with
what's been carried out in the middle east or the rest of the world.
Can we get back to Sweden bashing now?
