...And some folks grumbled about my earlier suggestions around
application guides; around the sorts of task-targeted documentation
materials that try to keep folks out of the weeds. Particularly those
folks that haven't read section 10.12 / Understanding Hard Links of the
_System Manager's Manual_ and Chapter 12 / Symbolic Links and POSIX
Pathname Support over in the _C Run-Time Library Reference Manual_, and
that may have missed one or two other sections of the documentation.
The Programming Concepts has no index references to links or hard links
or symbolic links. I'd wager that the PCSI manual has zilch on the
topic, too. (But then, who can even find the OpenVMS manuals at either
HPE or VSI?)
