I copied the system to the box I thought I had it running on and the
timings changed a little. Instead of the minute or two it used to take to
come up the above action now takes about 3 1/2 seconds.

That now happens within a second or so once the editor is already open.

Yeah this works great actually. I'm perfectly satisfied with the
performance running on fast hardware. Thanks a lot, this is great. Please
do get it out there for the other VMS/VAX guys. A good place to announce it
might be the SIMH mailing list. If you post something on comp.os.vms and
you want, I can forward to the SIMH list since I'm already subscribed.
