Do you have an Ethernet port on the back of the system labeled MP LAN,
located underneath the rightmost power supply bay on the back of the
Integrity rx2660? If so, that is the iLO (iLO 2). If you have an
iLO on that box — most of the rx2660 boxes do — then you will want to
configure and use that as the console and remote management.
Configure and use the MP LAN port; the iLO. Not the DECwindows
console via USB nor the serial console via COM1.

With the iLO configured, you can access the OpenVMS console via telnet
or (if you have licenses) ssh directly from your Mac, without needing
or using any USB nor any serial cables.
