No, MS clustering today is simply a few enhancements of their primary-
backup failover clustering that they have always had since clustering was 
introduced back in Windows NT4 timeframe.

MS bought the Windows NT Cluster product from Digital and promptly
shelved it. Digital did not want it anymore because almost every time a new
MS SP was released, it broke the DEC NT Clustering product. Of course, one
never really knew it was broken until it was needed and it failed to fail over.

Today MS simply have a more nodes for the primary to fail-over to, some
new things like CSV file shares (cluster shared volume) and what I would 
call a first stab at a cluster queue manager (they call a task manager).
