   It is normally cached, with more blocks marked on the disk as in use than
   are actually in use, so allocation doesn't need to update the on-disk
   value.  During proper dismount, the value on the disk is corrected.
   Improper dismount will leave it stale.

   Overkill.  See also "set volum/rebuild".
