There is a new filesystem on the roadmap for this year or next. I
believe Clair Grant said something like "not Spiralog but has some
shared concepts." That's a paraphrase from memory, not a direct quote.
Of course the competition have been busy with their own implementations
of some of those same concepts plus a lot more, most recently APFS:
