   For the record, I tried that with cURL version 7.50.3 on
an Alpha V8.4 system, and had some problems with the DCL
builder scripts ([.packages.vms]build_vms.com and
[.packages.vms]generate_config_vms_h_curl.com).  So, fetching
a pre-built executable might be easier than debugging the bad
DCL.
