It sounds as if you have sources that you could re-compile?

You don't mention the application, nor whether the graphical monitors are required.

My experiences are that moving code from VAX to Alpha, and to the itanic, is 
mainly re-compile, link, and run.

If you wish to consider some HW upgrades, perhaps talk to David Turner at Island 
Computers.  He may have some Alphas with graphics.  He has a bunch (he claims) 
of itanics, which may be able to be configured for graphics, don't know, and 
perhaps it will cost less to upgrade now.

I may have one of the SOG adapter cables laying around, I'd have to look.

For the 10base2 stuff, a "T" with two terminators will work.  It's been so long, 
I don't know what will work with 10base5.  Actually, I may have some terminators 
laying around, I'd have to search.
