Well, from an outsider looking in perspective, the counter
argument to this might be that HC was up by 10-12 points in the
various polls approx. 3 weeks before the election. Then the FBI
initiates the whole email thing with no valid reason (according
to both Rep and Democrat legal gurus) and all of a sudden the
lead crashes. Of course, no mention of the still going on
investigation into the other campaign party's links to Russia and
WikiLeaks.

In addition, you can add the illegally hacked emails being
released by design in a drip, drip fashion. 

Of course, no emails from the Rep party. I am sure the media
would love to have seen some of the internal Republican party
emails regarding Trump and how to deal with him. Or internal
emails from Trump lawyers about his still-not-released taxes.

These types of activities are not part of democracy - at least
not here anyway.
