None of the DEC terminals I have ever used actually were sold to me
by DEC.  Just like the Wyse, Televideo, BeeHive, HDS, Visual, etc.
Theyt all came from people who sold stuff manufactured by someone
else.  Neither they nor the manufacturer had any way of knowing how
many would be sold in a lot.  Might be one, might be a hundred. Only
way to guarantee satisfaction was to include one manual in every box.
