All new work has been done in C for around 20 years now. There are some rare exceptions, sure, but the dictum has been C for a long time. I want to say since not too long after we ported to Alpha but I cannot remember for sure. The one ongoing exception is when we need to do something in assembler for performance or a calling standard exception, for example.

Yes, there is still a ton of MACRO-32 and BLISS in the system.
