Having just started with Perfdat (older version) I must say this is the sort of tool that should have shipped with VMS long ago

Many years ago I used performance adviser and found that great but Perfdat is pretty dam good as well

Let's hope HPE keeps this alive. The graphing stuff runs rings around what is available with T4 (yes, I know T4 is free and Perfdat is not, but (Perfdat is cheap for an organisation though))

The other powerful aspect of Perfdat is the SQL like interface into the stored event data, quite powerful indeed
