Discussions of DECnet are arguably skirting reality, too.

I'd prefer to see the license and support costs for DECnet increase 
incrementally, and preferably increasing enough to lead to migrations 
to IP networking, and to the eventual deprecation and removal of DECnet 
from the standard installation packaging.
