Which works for VAX and Alpha images but not for I64, aka ELF, images -
not supported:
$ run 0::hello
%DCL-W-ACTIMAGE, error activating image 0::hello
-CLI-E-IMGNAME, image file 0::DISK$LOG:[NET]hello.EXE;1
-SYSTEM-E-INVFILFOROP, invalid file specification for operation
$
As far as I know, this feature wasn't officially supported, anyway.
And before you try it, running an ELF image from a tape device doesn't
work either.
