There can be a variety of different IP bits on OpenVMS Alpha V7.3-2.

Here is how to check the version, if you are running TCP/IP Services,
as it appears here:

$ TCPIP
TCPIP>  SHOW VERSION

OpenVMS does not integrate the IP stack, and does not integrate patches
or other such in version details, which means that the version and
patches and the rest can vary.

Though not in this case, there can also be a third-party IP stack installed.

Some of the versions and patches have errors, some involve FTP.

Running fossil software versions can be a problem, too. At least
newer versions and newer patches usually have newer bugs.
