I received private emails from others that stated they connected but had no
sound.  Staring at a screen with a 'techo-snowflake" and the session title
just wasn't very informative.

Standard?  Sorry but the standard is no longer the WEENDOZE box.  It's 
the Smart-phone, the i-toys, the Android tablets, etc. that people now
tote with them to interface with others in the cyber-universe.  But you
can cling to your luddite WEENDOZE with your pseudo-erudite belief that
everything else is inconsequential.
