That will be very useful indeed and makes using GNV much more viable.

I've briefly looked at the emacs kit and the build documentation
doesn't appear to match the files available in the kit. However,
your TPU example above has removed the immediate need to use emacs on
VMS so I won't be spending any more time with emacs on VMS for now.
