The DECnet Phase IV specifications are corrupted, with missing lines
of text. Given the nature of the corruption I suspect that when
overprinted lines have been converted to plain text, this resulted
in the lines being removed.
The following examples are from:
http://h41379.www4.hpe.com/wizard/decnet/edatlin10.txt
In the section beginning at line 202, the manual titles are missing.
While annoying, that's not really a significant problem. However, the
significant issue is that lines of text are missing from the actual
protocol descriptions themselves.
For example, on line 1045 (the Input-buffer description for the TRANSMIT
function), the first part of that paragraph is truncated.
I've looked on Bitsavers, but the only full set of scans are from
Phase III and earlier (based on the dates in the filenames).
Does anyone know of any DECnet Phase IV specification which are not
corrupted ?
Thanks,
Simon.
