$ ZIP "-VCj" xxx.ZIP xxx.BCK

zip error: Invalid command arguments (no such option: C)

$ zip
Copyright (C) 1990-1999 Info-ZIP
Type 'zip "-L"' for software license.
Zip 2.3 (November 29th 1999). Usage: zip=="$disk:[dir]zip.exe"

Do I have to update ZIP? Or can I simply remove the "C" option?
I can update for other reasons, but is "C" needed in *this* case?

And strictly personaly, I usually adds the following:

  - $ MC TCPIP$UUENCODE <savesetname>.ZIP <savesetname>.UUE
  - $ MAIL /SUBJ=PCSI <savesetname>.UUE "smtp%""<my-personal-mailadr>"""

And then forward the mail to whoever, skipping the FTP step.

Maybe it doesn't always work, but I have never got anything
but a correct VMS file as a normal attachment.

ZIP file become 1033 blocks using "-Vj9" instead of 1059 blocks
using "-Vj". Maybe the differnce is larger using a later ZIP.
