OpenVMS/SAN Technical Architect for a contract position lasting from
11/14/16 -5/31/17, working with a major beverage distribution client in
Milwaukee, WI. Only W2 candidates, who can work directly for Genesis10, will
be considered.

Description:


Provide comprehensive/cohesive IT architectural solution designs for a
strategic initiative that is comprised of multiple, co-dependent projects.
Ensure design meets business needs and adheres to stated directions and
standards for the architectural building blocks. Client will be replacing
Client EVA 4400 storage areas in 6 locations (Albany, Ft Worth, Irwindale,
Milwaukee, Trenton, and Columbus) with possibly Client 3PAR storage areas.
The servers are Client Integrity 26xx and 28xx models. In Albany, client
will be combining two Client EVA 4400's into a single SAN. This person will
be an OpenVMS expert to recommend to us what to buy as far as SAN is
concerned and how to do the migrations successfully. This role will assist
with procurement as well. Client is replacing the SAN on our OpenVMS
systems. This resource will collaborate with others to complete
deliverables.
 
Qualifications: 
*	Fluent in the Client OpenVMS 8.4 Operating System, Client Integrity
hardware, Client Storage systems (EVA and 3PAR), experience with storage
migrations and Boot from SAN
*	5-7 years of post-education experience
*	The project requires someone who has deep understanding of this
technology and can be the point person for everything technical on this
portion of the project
*	This person will also need to work with our partners to help get
work completed
