All three of these ports have been underway since before VSI existed.
PostgreSQL is stalled waiting for fixes to SSIO, so that may be what
they are investigating. Or they may just be pondering whether to
integrate and/or support some database with the OS, and which database
that should be.

Erlang is no surprise and has been in some state of completion for
several years. See

I believe the RabbitMQ message queue package is implemented in Erlang
and has been one of Brett Cameron's interests for some time -- that may
be at least one of the main drivers behind it.
