Yeah; looks like this s_client bug is fixed in HPE 1.0.2H, too.

Clearly missed that update on this server.

Underlying bugs and related omissions here include how the C select() 
call implementation is more limited on OpenVMS than on Unix, and that 
there's no mechanism in OpenVMS for update notifications.   That, and 
an administrator that didn't check for current versions of effected 
software.   All are longstanding issues.
