Well, it sure would be better to get a recurring support fee for the compiler, 
then a one time purchase fee.  Last time I looked, that purchase price was 
rather small.

However, I just don't see Basic becoming a scripting tool.  It just doesn't have 
the library of routines to do many required tasks.  Sure, those routines could 
be produced.  But with Python already having such a library, what's the business 
case for the effort required?  None at all.
