Hello:

Attention!!!! Call For Papers for the OpenVMS Boot Camp CLOSES on Sunday,
20 August 2017. Speaker will be notified no later than the end of that same
week in August as to whether or not their session(s) have been accepted.

Due to several reasons we are running a bit behind as far as OpenVMS Boot
Camp preparations. Specifically we are behind on getting sessions submitted
for the Boot Camp breakout sessions. AND we are behind in getting speakers
lined up to help with the Pre-Conference Seminars on Sunday, 24 September.
We have some nice sessions already submitted for the Boot Camp they include
well over twenty sessions submitted by VMS Software Inc as well as about
another 15 sessions from the OpenVMS Community - but we need MORE! You can
see the <https://www.eiseverywhere.com/ehome/openvms2017/547966/>
"accepted" sessions here as well as access the "Call for Papers" submission
process. We will be reviewing and moving Community submitted sessions into
that page as we move forward.

If you have already submitted one or more sessions, thank you! You will be
contacted soon as far as acknowledging your submission and with information
on how you can update / edit your submission. Acceptance notification will
follow later.

Now, the Pre-Conference Seminars. We are running TWO tracks this year on
Sunday. We have also reduced the cost of the Pre-Con to only $200. We
really want to make sure people are getting their monies worth on Sunday.
You can pick and choose from the two tracks for the same low price. These
sessions will be deep-dive and very interactive. Some presenters will be
doing hands on "training" as well. But we need to make sure we have the
people to present the seminars. If you or your company can help us with the
following topics please contact us. Please note, not everyone will be
accepted to join as speakers who contact us - we will select those that seem
to provide the most content and value to our attendees.

Alpha Track - Bridging the way to the future:
                        VSI OpenVMS AXP Versions

                        Hardware
                        Training
                        Community

            Modernization Track:

                        Existing HPE/VSI Technology
