No. Without going into too much detail, the contents of the files
can either be organised or unstructured (usually the latter).

Brian's PATCH/ABSOLUTE revelation was certainly very interesting
as I didn't know about that being available on Alpha. I've just
had a look and the PATCH interface is rather basic if you are
trying to do something complicated (it's fine for simple jobs
however) so I may just end up going with creating my own tool.
