V9.8 allows LD to operate in environments where SCSNODE is blank. This allows LD to be used in the installation environment, something the VSI rebranding code depends upon.

VSI has made a number of small changes to LD.  Mostly they are to support additional use of LD within the base OS. Jur is in the loop.
