One of my problems with one or a few of last years' sessions was that a number
were thinly disguised adverts for services, with next to zero technical
content, and a whole load of "you can hire me at 1-800-555-nnnn" and
please take my card...
Now, I know that the sponsors should have their platforms, but lets have some
technical content please rather than a misleading abstract. Some of the non VSI
sessions (aka breakouts?) were exceptionally good and I won't name them in the
interests of balance. (VSI: keep up the good work!)
Personally I have submitted a session which took its inspiration from a comment
/ wishlist proposal on here, and the observed popularity of a session run last
year that I think I can expand on with a twist and the odd bit of humour. I've
offered to do mine twice as well.
Bill: can it me made clearer when a session is a REPEAT or if its a part 1 and
part 2?
However it won't be the marathon laugh-a-thon that the YCMTSU was, even though I've gathered some incredible updates to some stories and witnessed or been told some extra ones!
Baldrick.
