John is referring to the SourceForge VMSPORTS site and not the upstream
haxx site. Which is the latest kit John has made available.
if you do select that latest download kit from the haxx site, you'll
get a "does not exist error" from the SourceForge site. Which has the
older kits that John mentioned. Not a more current one.
Which means downloading the old kit from VMSPORTS, or downloading and
building (or trying to build) the latest source bits from the haxx
server.
And hobbyists don't have good access to the SSL1 kits when last I
checked, and all of which gets ever more interesting due to the
completely silly way that OpenVMS has packaged a key and central part
of security.
