Switched from 7.15.2 to 7.19.15. 
Works just fine when needed; not that that's that often.

# curl --version
curl 7.19.5 (ALPHA-HP-VMS) libcurl/7.19.5 OpenSSL/0.9.7e
Protocols: tftp ftp telnet dict http file https ftps 
Features: NTLM SSL

curl --help gives a comprehensive one-liner summary of each option.
For more than that web search "man curl".

The executables are tiny.  Can drop a copy on gladia if you want.
