For the record, you may not have contributed personally, but,
presumably, your news client did - by quoting Dave Froble.  Your
client's contributions are to a certain extent indistinguishable
from your own; and it is, after all, acting on your behalf.

Plus it is a PITA to mangle the attribution chain with a substitution
like '<someone> wrote:' in order to avoid referencing someone whose
actual, personal contribution has been elided.
