Thanks Marc,
Keep getting errors. I copied the files from the CD to a directory on a harddisk and tried the commands you provide:
$ BACKUP /LIST DECSET_A.A /SAVE
Listing of save set(s)
%BACKUP-F-NOTSAVESET, DUA1:[DECSET122.KIT]DECSET_A.A;1 is not a BACKUP save set
$ SET FILE/ATTRIBUTES=(RFM:FIX,MRS:8192,LRL:8192,RAT:NONE) DECSET_A.A
$ BACKUP /LIST DECSET_A.A /SAVE
Listing of save set(s)
%BACKUP-E-READERR, error reading DUA1:[DECSET122.KIT]DECSET_A.A;1
-BACKUP-E-BLOCKCRC, software block CRC error
%BACKUP-E-INVBLKSIZE, invalid block size in save set
%BACKUP-E-INVRECSIZ, invalid record size in save set

The last command hangs. Most probably the zip file is corrup or a bad unzip. I will try another path, to install unzip and unzip the zip file in OpenVMS.
Anyway, thanks for the help.

Antonio
