One would have to know who "they" are. And then they would

Well, again from the thread that led to this one the
claim was that most of the programmers left for greener
pastures, or retired, or died. We are not talking about
something that recent college grads are fighting for.
I have skills that, by this point, have become rather
rare. And they are not going to become more common
again. At least not in my lifetime.
