I seriously doubt that will ever come back.  Too many other options, and 
the cost of provisding such may very well break VSI, and then there 
would not be a VMS.

Nor is a GUI user interface necessary to have VMS on your desktop.  Use 
a terminal emulator, or, would you ask for new VT terminals?
