[Info-vax] AS1200 disk bay question

The split-bus configuration I tried on an Alphaserver 1200 did not work because it took more parts than I had available.
So the disk bay must revert to a single bus. On the back there are four black connectors that look somewhat like SCA connectors.
The bottom one connects to the controller (via a piece of hardware that is mounted on the side of the bay).
The middle two connectors are connected by means of a short pice of plat cable.
The top connector holds the terminator.

The console shows only DKC0: thru DKC300: , the other disks are not visible.
I have no documentation on the diskbay, hopefully someone with a better memory than mine or with a manual can help me??
