There are no new VAX, Alpha, or itanic chips. They are DEAD!

If anyone was to put significant work into any of those three
environments, they're probably also asking to be dead. There is no
known (to me) reasons for any such activity.

Now, with the common code base, if that continues to exist, some things
done for x86 just might also work on itanic, and maybe Alpha, and never
VAX. Note, VAX does not share common code base. If so, fine, and if
not, too bad, run an x86 box.

Just to add my input to what others have already written, use VAX/VMS
V7.3. Anything else will most likely run into problems most of us have
forgotten long ago. (Says the bozo who is still using V7.2)

:-)
