Done.
Established TLS connection from Mac to OpenVMS system.
Host certificate verified against CA.
Data accepted from Mac by OpenVMS system.
Of course, all of the work was done for me by PHP. There is a PHP
application on the MAC that needs to talk to the OpenVMS system and PHP
won't complete the connection without validated certificates. All PHP
needed to know was where the certificates for the acceptable CAs were.
