When I plug a USB device into Windows 10, I do the following:

1) Open File Explorer.  There should be an icon that looks like window panes in the bottom left corner of the display.  Right-click on that, then left-click on File Explorer (usually pretty close the bottom).

2) On the left side of the window are some folders and various other choices.  Look for the one that names a disk/device other than C:  It should have a description that suggests it's the USB drive, perhaps the name of the manufacturer.

3) Double-click that entry.  You should see the files in the main part of the File Explorer window.
