CIFS is part of the Base Operating Environment (BOE) of VSI's current 
offering.

Samba is on the Roadmap [1] with a planned release time range of Q2/2018.

Pathworks/Advanced Server is too ancient  (based on Windows NT 4.0) to 
be useful, let aside legal restrictions.
