Mate I lived in the UK for 10 years and apart from twice having enough
snow to take the kids tobogganing in Richmond Park it was just cold dank
and miserable. Getting up in the dark standing in the sludge and grit at
the station only to enter a boiling hot train with scarf, gloves and
coat. Then as you rarely got to see the sun it was dark again at 3:30 :-(
At least in Munich we got to skate around the island lake at the See
Haus and they open the beer garden!
Anyway enjoy the black ice.
I have to admit that I'd like our sharks to freeze and drop dead!
