the vast majority of trips are under 50 miles, so range is not even
remotely a problem. plus, the batteries will be full every morning. you
can't refuel a gas powered vehicle while parked in your garage.
range is only a problem for long road trips, and in those cases, rent a
vehicle. eventually, that won't be a problem, as more charging stations
are built.
