Yeah, that's the ticket. Move across country to a much higher
cost of living area with no guarantee of a job because my
current employer won't charge my electric car which I can't
afford anyway. Sadly, I have to live in the real world.

Oh sure. And they are just hiring everybody. And paying them
enough to buy electric cars.

As I said, I have never seen a charging station anywhere
around here. Oh wait, I remember seeing one on the news
a while back. It was at a local school. Parent brought
child for after school sports and plugged into the charging
station. School had them arrested for theft of service.
It was intended for the electric car the school had not
for anyone else. They won the case in court, too.
As for me, I just took a trip. No charging station at the
airport. It cost me $70 to park for the week. I can only
imagine what it would cost to use a charging station for
204 hours. Drive by the library every day. Nope, no
charging stations. Shop? The nearest Mall is 25 miles
away. Even if they had charging stations it wold use all
the electricity just going back and forth from there.
Thus the reason I do most of my shopping online. It's
UPS's gas to deliver it to me.
Like I said, these new fangled devices make interesting
press but some of us are forced to live in the real world.
