In which case you have a problem. I doubt you are going to be able
to modify the VMS Debugger if it doesn't already do what you want.

I was talking about trying the gdb version in the original GNAT Pro
toolchain you used to build your Itanium toolchain.

If it doesn't work with a binary built with multiple compilers then
there's no point in going further. If it does, then you have to
decide if it's worth the effort trying to get some version of gdb
compiled for Itanium.
