The manual says the following, but it just does not work! At least on
Mac OS 9 so far. I am also not giving up! Will keep fighting it! Will
downgrade to Mac OS 7 if I have to.

AA-PBG4B-TE_Pathworks_for_Macintosh_DECnet_for_Macintosh_Users_Guide_Jan91_djvu.txt:
"The password is used by DECnet software to determine
whether other DECnet nodes can access the files on your
Macintosh computer.

For example, if you have specified a username of ADAM,
a password of KNOWLDGE, and node name of WESTON
for your Macintosh computer, users on other DECnet nodes
can access the topmost directory (folder) of the files on your
Macintosh computer by issuing the command.

$ DIR WESTON"ADAM KNOWLDGE" : :

5 Click on the Update button.

For the present, ignore the other fields in this window.

You are now back at the Executor Characteristics dialog box.
Note that the DECnet Startup State radio buttons are now set
to ON. This setting is normal.
