   I know of existing applications that were originally written in
   RATFOR and will be needed through 2025 or later.  However, they
   haven't been updated since the 1990s, and that was a bug fix that
   was done to the generated Fortran-IV code since the programmer and
   the debugger didn't know RATFOR.
