Upgrading and adapting to the world that we're now working in?

VSI can and will use and extend the best of what was, but there's no
future in the past.

And a very few parts of the past are incompatible with the future.

Not for VSI, and not for OpenVMS.

Among other changes, that means endemic TLS, integrated IP, and yes, PDF.

And the very selective and targeted end of upward compatibility, too.

OpenVMS changes. Or it dies.
