GNU Pascal is a dead project (the latest release was 12 years ago)
and I cannot see how well the latest version supports VMS.

I would also need to find a port of gcc 3.4.4 from that era which
supported VMS. However, the impression I get (which may be wrong)
is that the VMS code is from when VMS was a primary target for gcc.

The download link takes me to http://www.gnu-pascal.de/alpha/ which
describes the downloads as Alpha test versions which doesn't fill
me with confidence. :-)

Also, Free Pascal itself is starting to interest me. See my next
message (in reply to John).

Simon.
